My name is Clifford Tswatswa. I am currently the Head of the Geography Department at Peterhouse Boys School in Marondera Zimbabwe. I have been in this position since 2005. I am also in charge of soccer, a position I have held since 2006. Before that I taught at Bernard Mzeki College where I was also Head of Geography. I have been teaching in Zimbabwe since 1993. I have been married to Peggy since 1996 and we have three children, two girls and a boy.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography as a major and Philosophy as a minor. I have recently completed my Maters in Education Degree with Concordia University Online Education Programme, Oregon, USA majoring in Curriculum Development and Leadership as a minor. I have been involved in some outreach programs with disadvantaged children. Currently I am a board member of Africa Outreach, a USA based not for profit organization geared to help disadvantaged children in Zimbabwe and other countries in Southern Africa. I have a passion for football. Currently, I am the Chairman of CHISZ soccer. CHISZ stands for Conference of Heads of Independent Schools in Zimbabwe. I have had the opportunity to manage and coach football teams on Tour. In 2009 I was the manager of CHISZ team to Brazil. In 2014 I was coach of the CHISZ team that participated in a three Nations tournament in Zambia and in 2015 I managed a CHISZ team that Toured Hamburg in Germany.
During my spare time I enjoy playing squash; in fact I have played in our local league, MESRA, for the past 27 years. I am the 1st Game football (Soccer) coach at Peterhouse. I also follow European football and I am a Chelsea supporter.
